Megan holds a Master of Social Work in Clinical Specialization from the University of Calgary, and she is a Registered Social Worker in Alberta. She understands the value of human connection and the impact our environments can have on mental health and healing.
Understanding the complexities of life, Megan takes an empathic and trauma-informed approach to therapy to create a warm and nonjudgmental environment to for people to be their authentic selves and to build resiliency. She effectively integrates various therapeutic modalities, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Somatic Therapy, The Gottman Method for couples, and Expressive Arts Therapy. These approaches offer diverse perspectives to work with clients in their navigating their mental health.
