Stephanie works with individuals and couples in Calgary and across Western Canada who feel deeply, often carrying emotions, experiences, or patterns that feel difficult to navigate on their own. Many of her clients feel misunderstood, out of place, or caught between who they are and what's expected of them.
She is a strong fit for clients navigating attachment wounds, perfectionism, people-pleasing, self-criticism, and the long quiet weight of feeling not-quite-yourself for too long. She also has specific training in gender and sexuality, and works with LGBTQ+ clients exploring identity, relationships, and the experience of being who they actually are.
For couples, Stephanie works with partners who want more than just getting by, and are looking to reconnect, rebuild trust, and feel close again.
Stephanie’s Approach.
Stephanie's work is grounded in attachment, somatic, and emotion-focused perspectives. She helps clients understand how past experiences and relational patterns continue to shape their emotions, self-perception, and relationships today.
With individuals, she focuses on supporting emotional regulation, softening self-criticism, and helping clients reconnect with the parts of themselves that may have been overlooked or silenced. Her work integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), parts work, and the Hakomi Method, a somatic, mindfulness-based approach that uses present-moment awareness to access emotional and embodied experience.
For couples, she draws from the Gottman Method, focused on identifying patterns of disconnection, improving communication, and rebuilding emotional closeness over time.
What it’s like to sit with Stephanie.
Sessions with Stephanie tend to feel calm, steady, and emotionally attuned. She creates a space where you can slow down, feel into what's coming up, and begin to make sense of your experience without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
Her style is warm, curious, and compassionate, with moments of gentle humour. She moves at a pace that respects both your emotional experience and your nervous system, helping you stay connected to yourself while working through difficult or unfamiliar territory.
Personal Note
In my downtime, I enjoy writing, singing, and jamming with my band, as well as checking out live music around town. I also love getting lost in lore-rich video games, hunting for thrift shop hidden treasures, and tending my ever-growing collection of plant pals.
