Jacqueline brings over two decades of experience across mental health, recovery, coaching, and education. She's a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist with a particularly broad professional background, including roles as a school therapist, addiction therapist, recovery coach, and counsellor supporting survivors of sexual trauma. She has years of experience working with first responders, veterans, and high-performing professionals, and has led mental health education and resiliency training for organizations and community groups across Calgary.

She works with clients navigating trauma, anxiety, addiction, burnout, life transitions, and recovery. Many of her clients are people who've already done some work on themselves and are looking for someone with the depth, range, and directness to help them go further.

Jacqueline believes therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and empowering, and that real change requires more than insight alone. Her goal is to help clients build tools that translate into long-term wellbeing, clarity, and self-trust, not just symptom relief.

Jacqueline’s Approach.

Jacqueline is a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist trained in trauma-informed care, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and nervous system regulation. She also uses the EQ-i 2.0, a validated emotional intelligence assessment, as a framework for clients exploring self-awareness and interpersonal patterns.

Beyond her clinical training, Jacqueline is an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), a certified yoga instructor, a meditation teacher, and a former collegiate athlete. She brings a strengths-based, practical, and results-oriented style to her sessions, meeting clients where they are while gently encouraging growth, self-compassion, and accountability.

What it’s like to sit with Jacqueline.

Sessions with Jacqueline are active, engaging and paced with the client’s needs. Jacqueline will gently challenge you, redirect when needed, and is committed to keep the conversation moving, in the direction of your goals.

Creating a space where you can be real about what’s going on, she makes you feel comfortable with your story, no matter what the content. There’s a lot of honesty in the room, but also humour, energy, and an understanding, that something is truly shifting — not just being talked about.

Personal Note

For me, mental, physical and spiritual health is everything. What I do at Carbon, is not “just a job”, as it infiltrates every part of who I am as a human. I believe that how we show up for ourselves and others, always matters. Throughout my life, I have been witness to extreme triumphs and absolute tragedies; all shaping how I exist personally and professionally today. Yoga, meditation, movement and reflection are apart of my daily practice.

On a regular, when I am away from coursework or clients; you can find me exploring in nature, at the gym/ yoga studio, traveling or doing something fun with family and friends. I’m also slightly obsessed with my boxer Bodhi..

Fun fact: I’ve always been a curious adventurer; having explored 6 continents and living in 4 countries — and I still have so many places I want to see!

Education.
