With over 15 years of experience in the wellness field, Angelica works with individuals (children, teens, and adults), couples, and families who are often feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or out of balance, and are looking for a deeper sense of alignment in their lives and relationships.
Many of her clients are navigating the lasting impact of early experiences, complex family dynamics, or patterns that feel difficult to shift on their own, and are wanting a more integrated way of working through what they’re carrying.
Angelica’s Approach.
Angelica’s work is humanistic and relational, with a strong emphasis on the connection between mind and body. She integrates somatic and body-based practices to support clients in moving beyond insight alone, and into a more embodied way of processing their experiences.
Her approach is informed by attachment and family systems perspectives, and incorporates elements of CBT, EFT, narrative, and expressive therapies when helpful. At the core of her work is the belief that healing is not about fixing what is broken, but reconnecting with your capacity to feel, grow, and relate more meaningfully to yourself and others.
What it’s like to work with Angelica.
Sessions with Angelica are expressive, attuned, and grounded in the present moment. She creates space for clients to slow down, connect more deeply with their emotional and physical experience, and move through what’s coming up at a pace that feels manageable.
Her style is warm and relational, while also gently guiding clients into areas that may feel unfamiliar or difficult, supporting a process that is both reflective and experiential.
Personal Note
Raised in a second-generation immigrant family, Angelica learned early the value of hard work and perseverance. Alongside that, she’s come to value slowing down and being present. She’s currently training for her second Ironman, learning a new instrument in her 30s, and one day hopes to get her pilot’s license, all while still finding time to be slow, present, and light-hearted.
