Angelo Sison, M.Sc Registered Psychologist
Angelo holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from McGill University and specializes in complex trauma, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), social anxiety, and chronic shame. He works with adults who grew up in emotionally neglectful or unpredictable environments and now struggle with emotional reactivity, relationship instability, and a harsh inner critic.
Using EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS), Angelo targets the root drivers of shame, impulsivity, and relational distress, not just surface symptoms. His approach is structured, direct, and depth-oriented, helping clients build emotional regulation, identity stability, and lasting self-trust.
Many of his clients are high-functioning externally but feel overwhelmed internally. Therapy focuses on measurable change, not just insight.

More about Angelo
Therapy isn’t just about managing symptoms; it’s about building a mind that can adapt, refocus, and grow.
Angelo’s approach is grounded in meeting you where you’re at. He tailors his language and methods to what resonates with you, drawing from different psychological theories to make our conversations practical and meaningful. Healing and growth can take many forms, and he doesn’t believe in limiting the process to one approach.
This space is designed to honour your experience, validate your emotions, and challenge you toward growth. Angelo believes therapy should offer both understanding and movement, compassion balanced with accountability.
Angelo works primarily with growth-oriented individuals, high performers, men, people of colour, and adolescents. His areas of focus include depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, and relationship issues. While eclectic in nature, his work is primarily informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and attachment-based approaches.
